In this Hiking along the edge of the Caldera de las Cañadas we start from the El Portillo Visitor Center to take the path to the area known as Black Sands. In some areas there is a certain slope, especially in the descent section to the Las Cañadas plain, so the use of walking sticks is appreciated. This is an easy trail to follow on Mount Teide , of medium-low difficulty, especially as it runs high up. You can expect panoramic views, the silence of the mountains, the wonders of the endemic flora of the park, the unique volcanic formations of Las Cañadas
